Top 10 Favorite Undead/Nonhuman Characters

Last week’s poll received a record 45,198 voters! However, the site pageviews did not justify that many votes. There’s a chance that the poll was embedded on different sites, but it’s more likely that the poll was hacked. It’s impossible to tell which votes are fraudulent, however. All of the top 5 characters seem to have some degree of auto-voting, but before the sudden spikes in voting, all of those characters were in the top 10. So this top 10 list is fairly accurate, however the actual order may be incorrect.

To prevent future auto-votes, I would have to subscribe to a voting system costing $300/year or more. So I would ask that if you want your favorite shows/characters to win a particular poll, you share the link on social networks and fan sites instead of automating votes. I would hate to have to discontinue Monday Madness because of cheating.

But back to the fun! Here are the winners of last week’s poll!

Number 10: Oz from Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Number 9: Data from Star Trek: The Next Generation

Number 8: Anya from Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Number 7: Angel from Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel

Number 6: Teal’c from Stargate SG-1

Number 5: Spock from Star Trek

Number 4: Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel

Number 3: The Doctor from Doctor Who

Number 2: Castiel from Supernatural

Number 1: Cameron from Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles!

  1. Hey, just discovered this poll. I’m not a fan of the whole Angel / Buffy thing, but I do dig Doctor Who and Star Trek. The Doctor would have been my #1 for sure. I’d no idea that Terminator or Stargate would still be getting such a response.
