Over the years, I’ve created and worked with many different WordPress blogs. Whenever I felt the urge to blog about a passion (new or old) in my life, I would spend hours immersed in finding just the right theme and tweaking it to do exactly what I wanted. From choosing plugins, modifying color schemes, and adding HTML to widgets, I often spent more time getting my site just right than actually blogging.
In the process, I’ve learned a lot about CSS and RSS, editing headers and inserting ads, and text links and photo sidebars. No, I can’t create a WordPress blog theme from scratch (yet!), but I can get a created theme to do what I want it to do.
Or what you want it to do. I’m now offering my services to help you get your blog working correctly, without having to hire an expensive web developer or designer. I can help you make changes to your current theme, or help you select a free or inexpensive theme and then customize it to your exact needs.
I’m willing to work with any budget, and we’ll discuss before I begin whether your project warrants a flat rate or my low hourly fee. Quick fixes start as low as $10, and I’ll always be available if you want to add something else or try out a completely different theme.
If you’re a do-it-yourself type and just need a little help to get started, I can walk you through the changes I make and other simple editing tools, and you can continue to update your site on your own. I’ll even tailor these “tutoring sessions” to your preferred theme.
