I just love getting all these cool hints about what’s coming up next for my favorite shows! (And this site does a great job on not making them too spoilery, but there are still some, so beware!) Loving the look ahead at How I Met Your Mother, Ringer (it’s been too long since there was a new episode!), and even a last peek at Chuck’s final episode!

While the CW’s Beauty and the Beast reboot didn’t really interest me (never saw the original show, but the few pics I’ve come across of it look ridiculous), I love the fact that ABC is also looking at a Beauty and the Beast pilot. They’ve done an amazing job so far with Once Upon a Time, and this would be a perfect companion show for Sunday nights. Besides, Beauty and the Beast is my favorite Disney princess story.
Reimagined fairy tales are quite “in” now thanks to the success of Once Upon a Time and Grimm, but I think there’s room for a few more.

Can’t wait to hear what actors will be in all of these pilots! One of the few mentioned, Sophia Mitri Schloss (pictured above), was recently seen in Grimm’s pilot episode.

Finally got caught up with some of last week’s shows, including this Grimm episode, so I finally got to read Ruth’s review (linked below). Having never read Of Mice and Men, any parallels to that story were lost on me, but I still enjoyed the episode. It did bug me that the lawyer living in such a dump was never explained – I was ready for Nick and Hank to ask him about it. Oh, well, maybe he just put all his money into his sweet ride.
I’m pretty curious how things are going to play out with both Monroe and Juliette. And I’m wondering how long this episode was after the previous one – Nick was pretty beat up, and now seems perfectly fine crawling through tunnels and whatnot. Unless advanced healing is part of the Grimm package (which Juliette would be curious about), it seems like it should be at least a month later, though I’m not sure the creature community would have waited that long to send Monroe a message (assuming that it’s because of Monroe’s more active role in the previous episode).
The noir Castle cast photo has been out for a while, but we’re finally getting a better look at the individual characters in this slideshow of photos. The 1947 flashback episode airs in two weeks (February 6th). It also stars Mark Pellegrino, whose work I’m most familiar with in the North American version of Being Human (he plays Bishop), but he has also had a reoccurring role on other shows, including Supernatural, Lost, and The Closer.
Fun little behind the scenes look at the latest episode (#100!) of The Big Bang Theory. And I think it’s awesome that the show bested American Idol in its first half hour. Was anyone a little confused by the episode though? And ticked that Settlers of Catan will be awkward from now on?

Some cool info on Dichen’s Being Human character, Suren. It’s kind of fun how she was far removed from the vampire part of Joss Whedon’s works (since she was in Dollhouse), and is now playing a vampire in a completely different show.

Lots of show news packed into this article! Especially loving the fun tidbits about Grimm, and finally some hints at Captain Renard’s role in all this. Also, seems like they haven’t forgotten about Parker in Bones – interested to see his reaction to his sister. And, while I don’t watch The Mentalist, an reappearance by Firefly alum Morena Baccarin (Inara) is well worth sharing!

Yes, very spoilery post below, though it’s not that bad if you’re only an episode or two behind in the season (like me) – lots of hints about future episodes, but nothing too concrete. Three huge spoilers at least if you still haven’t finished season one (and if so, shame on you!). I actually find a little encouraging that showrunner Craig Silverstein plans to off characters since he can’t afford them all – getting ready for season 3, perhaps? As for which character I think is about to say goodbye to the show, it’s hard to guess. So many of them have cheated and faked death so far, so that doesn’t offer any sense of security. I just hope it’s not Birkhoff.
Yeah, I know this news is a week old, but I hadn’t realized that Jewel Staite (Kaylee from Firefly, pictured left) was starring in this one-hour soapy drama about Canadian wannabe actors trying to make it in Los Angeles.

Ooo, some cool preview pics for February episodes of Once Upon a Time! Includes our first look at McNab from Psych as Gaston (above)! And how awesome is it that Belle (Lost’s Emilie de Ravin) is holding a book and wearing an off-the-shoulder yellow dress, so reminiscent of the animated movie version! Some of the pics (this is the only Beauty and the Beast one) are a little spoilerish, so look at your own risk. The article itself (pics are in a slideshow beneath it, so you’ll only see the non-spoiler first one) is less so.
The best thing to help out The Finder’s not-so-great premiere ratings? Having the second episode host guest star John Francis Daley, playing his character from Bones, Dr. Lance Sweets. If this preview video is any indication, the episode will be hilarious!
